Here's what's new:
The general stomp in a bin is replaced by having you step inside a half barrel to transform our grapes with your talented tootsies!
The event will take place a few weeks later in the year to give those beautiful berries a bit more time to sweeten.
The date: This Saturday Sept. 15, 2018
12pm to 5pm

a commemorative glass with a pour of what will be the newly released San Francisco Chronicle medal winning 2016 Tootsie desert wine.Taste your predecessor's talents!

a Competition will also be held, but rather than basing the winner on quantity of juice produced, we're going to focus and select based on the creativity and beauty of the dance inside the barrel.
What better opportunity to continue our "Original Artist Series"!

New Release - our estate grown and produced crisp white blend - Blanco. All sourced from Sam's block in our vineyard here in Central Oregon. This crisp blend of a multiple of varietals including sauvignon blanc and chenin blanc (to name a few) has earned national accolades from the start.
Tempranillo - Classic Rioja style: smokey and earthy medium bodied red
Legal Zin - The wine that first defined Maragas Winery. A Hearty - old school style - big zinfandel!
New release - Rosé - just in time for summer. It's barrel fermented and aged one year. Fruity forward, dry French style, an amazing pair with Salmon and equally good on it's on while enjoying a hot summer day on the patio.
Be serenaded by our own Samantha Maragas (12 years old) as she continues to warm-up her pipes for her June debut with the National Honors Choir when they perform later this summer at Carnegie Hall in NYC!

Celebrate Spring at our Pickup Party Sunday May 6th from 3pm to 5pm. The theme is Italian Food - Inspired by two family members: Gina's grandmother's (also named Gina) wedding soup and vegetable antipasti. Doug's maternal Grandfather's (Nick) Roman red sauce over meatballs over pasta.
At a special moment during the Pickup Party, we'll also hear a song or two from the Winery daughter - Samantha Maragas (that's Samantha in the picture from a month ago in a celebratory pose after finishing her assist on topping barrels). You may have seen on the news that Samantha recently auditioned and earned a spot in the National Honors Choir. She'll be performing this June at Carnegie Hall (yes, the one in NYC!). FYI, she may be doing a bit of fundraising for her trip.
Please email (email@example.com) or call ((541) 546-5464) the winery to rsvp your tickets for the pickup party.
It's complimentary for up to two people per membership. Additional people are $10 per person. RSVP by the end of the day on May 2nd to allow for an ample food prep. And, to be fair to all who RSVP, you'll have to RSVP to attend - thank you! Cheers!
