So many wonderful things this time of year. A child's delight and a farmers friend - the release of ladybugs in our vineyard. Our first release of the year amounted to 18,000 ladybugs. Winemaker, Doug Maragas, and his daughter Samantha just released this first round of beneficial insects into their organic vineyard. Pictured are ladybugs in the vineyard getting acquainted with their new habitat - chardonnay leaves.
Summer is here and fruit set is abundant! Along with our established vines that have earned us great accolades among wine experts and our wine club, we've again reached into the experimentation arena with the current planting of two clones of Nebbiolo.
Stop in and enjoy our current releases. Take in one of several paintings from the resurrected Lattavo Gallery at home on the walls of our unique barrel room. Enjoy a tasting flight or make yourself comfortable with a bottle on the patio overlooking vineyard, pastoral farm land, Smith Rock, and the Cascade Mountains. We have a great venue for you to relax and enjoy the flavors of our award winning wines!
With your wine, try one of our carefully selected (for their amazing qualities) local, regional, and international cheese, charcuterie, and chocolates. And, we have unique items to take home or for gifts such as marble coasters adorned with vintage Lattavo caricatures.
