Motel Kalifornia Concert - April 25 5 to 8pm

This group plays nationally and across the boarder.  The concert is being produced by Wes and he will be donating 10% of the proceeds to Jefferson, County charities.

Tickets are $30.  Click here to go to Wes' site for tickets. 
Wes will be donating a portion of his proceeds to the Jefferson County Food Bank, Veterans, and Historical Society. This is a 21 and over event.


​Winery open for tasting, drinks, and apps beginning at 11:30am - ticketed guest entrance begins at 4:30pm.  

Please no pets and no outside food or beverages.
We’re excited to welcome you to the winery for an evening of live music, plus award winning wine, local brew, and guest chef prepared food available for purchase to accompany your musical experience.

Top Chef Alex ​Martin with his sous chef Alejandra will be using our enormous wood fired grill to create their :
High Desert Hotdogs -  
Delicious marinated dogs with a condiments bar.  Create your own, we will provide an array of condiments.
New Mexico Hatch Red Chile Bean Hotdog - again with condiments
Both hot dogs will come with a side of fluffy popcorn!
Green Goddess Pasta - Pasta, olives, feta, cucumber and a secret dressing
Chips & Homemade Salsa - 2 salsas,  Big Red spicy and Green salsa (mild)
Roasted Corn -  1 large corn cob with butter & salt grill roasted

Alexander (Alex) Martin, Executive Chef
Guest Chef for our Mother's Day Brunch

We are pleased to introduce Alexander (Alex) Martin as the executive Chef of our mother's day event. A graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Institute in Pasadena, California, and an award-winning chef, Alex brings over 25 years of culinary experience. 

Raised in Paso Robles, California, Alex developed a deep connection to food through his family’s ranch. His culinary journey began in high school at the Paso Robles Culinary Academy and continued through a diverse career working in wineries, a French bistro, catering companies, olive farms, and organic, wellness-focused kitchens.

Throughout his career, Alex has earned numerous accolades. His achievements include being a four-time Top Chef winner at the Wellness Kitchen Top Chef event, a three-time first-place winner at the Olive Oil Festival Head-to-Head Chef Cook-Off, and earning best dish at the Chef & Winemaker Cook-Off.

Our Mother's Day Brunch is set up to be a food and wine pairing experience.  Marked to be very experiential.  
In that some may wish to take part in only the meal, we've priced the tickets to just include the meal.

When you arrive, you will be asked whether you would like to partake in the wine portion of the experience which will be $25 (wine club $20) and include 5 wines with our winemakers interaction guiding your experience.

Additionally available for purchase when you arrive will be a selection of local beers, orange juice, sparkling fruit juice sodas, and Greek Coffee.

Here is our Prix Fixe Menu for the event:
Bloody Mary Shrimp Cocktail
Served in a lettuce cup with Pico de gallo, avocado, garlic olive oil, shrimp, bloody mary mix, &  croccantini 

Local Hen-Egg Frittata
Served with olives, feta cheese, roasted sweet peppers, caramelized onions, & baby spinach

Dessert
Key-lime Cookie Pie
Served with homemade key-lime cream, honey, & homemade cookies

Kids Menu
French Toast Sticks
Served in a cup with syrup with a side of grapes & sliced strawberry

Sunday April 12 - open 1 to 4pm - Greek Easter - Special Plate

Dish of the day for "Greek Easter" -  which falls on April 12 this year.

Interesting fact.  The Orthodox Church follows the older Julian calendar year, whereas the Western Church follows the Gregorian calendar year.  Consequently, Easter often falls on two different days for the two sects of the Christian faith. 

This year's Greek Easter special plate at Maragas Winery will be Pastitsio -  A Greek Lasagna. 
 Layers of tubular pasta and a savory, cinnamon-spiced local grass fed ground beef tomato sauce, topped with a creamy béchamel sauce made with local free range eggs and cheese, baked until golden brown, then garnished with our own freshly grown oregano.

We'll have selected wines to choose from that pair beautifully with this zesty dish.

We won't be taking reservations.  Get this special dish of the day this Greek Easter.

Celebrating Anna Maragas'
birthday 
(our winemaker's  grandmother).  She was the winemaking matriarch of the Maragas family.  If she were alive today, she would be 115 years of age.
Complementary taste of "Fresh" to toast Anna for every customer (of age) visiting today.
