Legal Zin - 2016
A Zin red blend of 63% Zinfandel, 34% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot. This blend contains our first vintage of organic Zinfandel grapes grown 26 miles north of our winery in Jefferson County, Oregon. We finished the fermentation in oak barrels and aged the wine in 38% new and 62% seasoned American oak for 4 years. This is a big dry, roasted berry, earthy zin with enhanced flavor from the extensive dehydration and concentration in our arid barrel room.   Unfiltered and Unfined.  New release.  Alc. by vol. 16.8% 750ml $45.00

  Tempranillo Reserve 2016
The best of the 2016 harvest, begun with wild fermentation, then supplemented with an ancient isolated strain of Bordeaux yeast.  Fermentation finished in barrels and we barrel aged the wine for 4 years in 40% New and 60% seasoned American Oak.  To put the finishing touch on this wine, we blended 23% Malbec into what became 77% Tempranillo.  The result is an earthy and spicy Tempranillo with the full flavors akin to the  traditional Rioja style.   New Release.  Unfiltered, unfined.
120 cases prouced.
Alc. by vol. 15.2% 750ml      $48.00

C.I.A. Single Barrel Select 2007
This wine embodies the culmination of our family’s several generations of winemaking - both in Europe and the United States. For us, wine is art. Our C.I.A. series represents the finest in our craft and is aptly wrapped in the fine art of Joanne Lattavo - a venerated artist and the mother of winemaker Doug Maragas.  C.I.A. transcends wine.  After 8 years of barrel aging and dehydration in the barrel, the wine has the depth and feel of a port, albeit, without the residual sugar.  With such a drawn out and expensive process, we only produce 1 barrel of this wine.  A dry robust and extremely complex sipping wine that will take your senses into overdrive.  Although we normally refrain from from imparting ideas of flavor, this wine is so unique that a descriptive nose and flavor profile seems in order.  The nose is of Apricot, Raisinettes, black walnuts, macadamia and dark roasted coffee beans.  The flavor encompasses dried blackberries, currants, loganberry, Epoisses cheese,  chocolate, and grapefruit peel.   Too few cases to submit to competition. Alc. by vol. 16.7%     24 cases produced   Too few cases to compete.  $105.00

Petit Verdot - 2016
Inspired by an amazing Club member who adores this Bordeaux varietal, We finished fermentation in barrels and continued aging in 70% new and 30% seasoned oak barrel blend for 4 years (initially we were going to bottle this at 36 months, but decided one more year would make it that much more vibrant, and the theory proved correct!). This wine is a Storm of flavor  -  big rich and ripe Petit Verdot with enhanced flavor from years of dehydration and concentration in our arid cellar.  Made according to our centuries old family tradition, this wine is made naturally and is unfiltered and unfined.  Expect deep tannins and color, with abundant fruit.  New release.  Alc. by vol. 15.5% 750ml     $60.00  (Wine Club Exclusive)

   M  2014
Barrel aged for 6 years in a blend of 58% new and 42% seasoned oak American Oak.    A blend of 67% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Malbec.  This red takes the Bordeaux blend style to greater depth.  Using our arid barrel room techniques, marries it to an Amarone style. The result is a rich, very full bodied wine dominated by sautéed fruit and roasted spices. Unfiltered, unfined.      New release.
151 cases produced. Alc. by vol. 15.3% 750ml      $60.00

 Terrebonne Tempranillo 2017
Unfiltered and unfined, this old world wine was naturally made and barrel aged using 26% new and 74% seasoned American oak for 3 years. The result is a very smooth, earthy, medium bodied red that pairs with many foods including lighter fare and spicy foods.  We consider this the Oregon style of Tempranillo - more fruit forward on the palate than would be found in the traditional style of Spain.  242 cases produced.
Alc. by vol. 14.3% 750ml      $39.00 (pre-release, to Wine Club only)

 C.I.A. Single Barrel Select 2010
A limited, single barrel production.  This C.I.A. was barrel aged for 7 years in American Oak. It transcends wine and enters into the realm of between states – between wine and port  (albeit completely dry). Made from 100% Horse Heaven Hills petite sirah, we lose approximately half of the wine volume to make this intensely lush and flavorful sipping wine. Plum, orange liquor, blueberry, dark chocolate, and tobacco, with port-like density on the finish. Drink as you would an aperitif or after-dinner wine.
Alc. by vol. 17.1%     22 cases produced   Too few cases to compete.  $105.00
