Maragas Winery is rooted in the deep wine-making and drinking traditions of the Old World. Much like blending the sensibilities of ancient Greece with the fresh air and attitudes of Central Oregon, Maragas brings together art and science, passion and expertise, and other diverse elements to create a wonderfully immersive experience. Chardonnay 2017

Our Gold Medal Chardonnay.  Re-released from our Library of best vintage wines. We have limited quantities, less than a pallet, left of this vintage.  

If you're a Chardonnay lover, this wine is a must have.  Barrel fermented and barrel aged for 3 years in 35% percent new French Oak, and 65% seasoned oak.  Even though it has significant barrel time, this in not an oaky-buttery Chard.  This is a more elegant, Burgundian style Chard.

Cabernet Sauvignon Cuvée 14

Two big years, 2014 and 2015 vintages, of hearty Cabernet Sauvignon are combined into this complex red. Extensively barrel aged from 72 to 86 months. Silver Medal San Francisco Chronicle.

Complex multifaceted Cab with a flavor profile seen elsewhere only in bottles costing three times as much.  The extensive barrel aging focuses flavors, increases earthiness, an evolves into a very smooth finish.   Unfiltered & Unfined
