Leo Moon - "Easy Folk Click here to sample his music Leo Moon is the solo incarnation of actor, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Brian Adrian Koch. California born and Oregon raised, Brian has been active in the Portland theater, film & music scene since arriving in 2000 (He is currently starring in Die Hard: The Musical Parody at FunHouse Lounge) He is also a current and founding member of indie rock band Blitzen Trapper (2000 - present), and formerly of psychedelic folk duo Dead Lee (2017-2023). Appearing now as a solo acoustic performer, his minimal and haunting urban prairie folk tunes are stripped down paeans to the glorious absurdities of life; harmonica spattered psalms to the void. Leo has most recently opened for English troubadour Wesley Stace & Minnesota's Wild Horses as well as appearing at Shady Pines Festival in Sandy OR and at Portland Folk Festival in January 2025. His new album, The Fool, will be released on Time Release Records in early 2026. This performance is complimentary to all our guests.

While he sometimes plays rock, r&b and blues, he is a top-notch jazz drummer who is a tasteful accompanist and a melodic soloist. He has headlined multiple major comedy clubs including The Laugh Factory in Chicago. For three consecutive years, he won awards in “The Best of Olympia” issue of the Weekly Volcano. Sam is a recurring guest and has been heard by an estimated 2.5 million listeners on the nationally syndicated “Bob & Tom Radio Show.” He has written for Newsweek. He was the runner-up in the 2021 Seattle International Comedy Competition and won the Comedy on Trial Competition in 2017. His first album and special, Round Trip, was recorded and filmed under the tutelage of Grammy-winning producer Dan Schlissel, whose indie label, Stand Up! Records, Sam had recently signed a three-album deal with. Round Trip was released October 27th 2023 and immediately went to number one on the on the iTunes Comedy Charts. $30 ticket.
